No. 1
The Bass Museum, Miami Beach, Florida

"Architecturally beautiful but audio-visually challenging, thick stone walls and a surfeit of floor-to-ceiling windows forced us to think outside the box (quite literally).  The beauty of the physical space forced us to create a more intimate setting for this team meeting.  Love a venue that makes you think."

Mel Underwood, Head of Production

No. 2
Shangri-La, Bangkok, Thailand

"In a ‘land of a thousand smiles’ that is exactly what you get when you work at the Shangri-La.  Exceptional service is a given but the faces you see year-on-year makes delivering here like working with family.  Right on the river with exceptional facilities, it’s a venue that never fails to surprise and delight.  Added bonus are the orchids in the lobby - just breath-taking."

Sophie Morris, Managing Director

No. 3
QE11 Centre, London, UK

"The complete package and best for international delegates who want to truly experience  London.  Full-service in every meaningful sense of the word with unmatched views of  Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.  Near our favourite London street corner.  Access to a front garden – complete with flagpoles – helps you to announce that your event has arrived in the heart of the capital."

Jennifer Jenkins, Director

No. 4
The Lygon Arms, Broadway, UK

"This one is a bit of a cheat because we haven’t worked here yet.  But, this  Cotswolds hotel is the very manifestation of quintessentially English.  And you are on recognised industry stalwart Lisa Lennoux Dock’s home patch so anything is possible.  In partnership with  award-winning chef, James Martin, this country house retreat ticks all the venue boxes for fine dining."

Jen Jones, Head of Venue Sourcing

No. 5
Mount Nelson, Cape Town, South Africa

"Painted pink in 1918 to celebrate the end of the First World War, this beautiful hotel has over 100-years of history and is affectionately known as ‘The Nellie’.  Located between the slopes of Table Mountain and the city centre it is the immaculately landscaped gardens and  palm-lined driveway that keeps us coming back … and the afternoon teas of course (for those in the know)."

No. 6
The Eastern & Orient Express - Singapore to Bangkok

"Admittedly, a moving venue but still a firm favourite.  The two night  journey from Singapore to Bangkok is the very definition of living the dream.  Dress to impress for pre-dinner drinks in the observation car.  Then retire to your room and fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of a travelling train.  We never get tired of waking up in a new destination."

Mel White, Account Director

No. 7
The Spine, Liverpool, UK

"The venue that has disrupted the MICE space in the UK by providing delegates with that often elusive feel good factor at the end of a long day.  We love the biophilic sky garden and the clever use of social spaces.  Run by the very knowledgeable team from the Royal College of Physicians, RCP Events, this venue is hard to better for educational events where maintaining focus is a must."

Ceri Brown, Account Manager

No. 8
Fairmont, Windsor Park, UK

"Adjacent to Windsor Park with great access to London Heathrow and Central London but with outside and green space galore.  A whole wing set aside for Meetings and Events with  private entrance to boot.  Beautifully refurbished to world-leading luxury standards.  We love the country house atmosphere (so close to the City).  But also the many private and semi-private meeting rooms and spaces across the resort making it ideal for larger residential meetings."

Jennifer Jenkins, Director

No. 9
FIBES, Seville, Spain

"We hold a very special place in our hearts for this venue.  After a long pandemic-related pause, we finally returned to FIBES in 2022.   We love the modern and clean-lined spaces of this contemporary congress centre, all a short taxi ride from the historical grandeur of down town Seville.  An in-house team that scheduled and re-scheduled our event in the face of  pandemic uncertainties and for whom nothing was too much trouble.  Love the mighty air conditioning and shaded internal spaces that make this a year-round venue."

Dani Davy, Account Director

No. 10
Carlton Beach Club, Cannes, France

"We took our first trip to the Carlton Pier in Cannes as the technical partner for the Pinterest experiential stand for the Cannes Lions Festival in 2019. Setting up this experience on a sandy, hot, wave weathered pier came with challenges. A careful balance of staying in the shade whilst making the brand shine was key. Invisible but always accessible audio visual kit (and crew). 30 degree heat and views of the beach - a good day at work."

Mel Underwood, Head of Production
