Incentive Travel Destinations – The ones to watch
Having delivered over 5,000 client events around the globe, our passion for new destinations remains as fervent as ever! In the words of our MD: “A true incentive programme cannot be bought ‘off-the-shelf’ or reproduced – it should be a one-time magical and memorable experience. New destinations and new experiences in established destinations are the lifeblood of delivering unique, exceptional experiences – the key to a successful incentive event.”
With our finger firmly on the pulse of what works, what is new and what will deliver the critical ‘wow factor’, amongst the destinations catching our attention are:
Montenegro
We have been fans of the Southern Adriatic for some time. Small as it is, Montenegro is a country of great diversity; it certainly packs a punch, from sandy beaches to medieval cities and mountain parks. Along the coast, in the blink of an eye, you could be back in the Mediterranean thirty years ago. While flight access does currently require some creativity, we think that Aman Sveti Stefan – a restored 15th-century island – is well worth considering.
Utah
With wide open spaces and scenery straight out of a Cowboys and Indians movie, nowhere in the US does classic towering red-rock desert quite like the Canyonlands of Southern Utah. With its Mormon heritage, state capital Salt Lake City still retains its frontier feel, and – with a hop, skip and a jump – you’re at some of the best skiing in the US at Park City, also famous for the Sundance Film Festival and home to a cluster of top-notch resorts. With a hub in Salt Lake City, Delta Airlines is currently offering direct seasonal flights from London Heathrow.
Panama
Stretching from the Pacific to the Caribbean, with beaches, mountains, rainforest, indigenous cultures and a vibrant cosmopolitan capital city, Panama’s diversity means that the destination can offer multi-centre options, but its size means that it’s all possible from one centre. There is certainly more to the country than the Panama Canal, although the canal is, unquestionably, worth a visit!
We are looking forward to seeing the Ritz-Carlton Pearl Island Reserve open, for what promises to be a luxurious and secluded private island experience.
Oman
We first saw the destination over twenty years ago and were instantly swayed by its charm. With a dramatic landscape, seascape and heritage, there is an abundance of authentic activities to be experienced. While Muscat and its surroundings are already on the radar, the country’s wider territory is now opening up some truly awe-inspiring resort options.
If you are need of some inspiration, we’d love to share our thoughts with you.
