Growing one of the world’s largest medical education congresses to deliver record revenues
When AMEE’s flagship congress became too big for them to manage internally, we stepped in to deliver and grow the event. Seven years on, we’ve increased delegate numbers by 40 per cent and delivered record revenues by evolving formats and sourcing new exhibitors and sponsors.
- What we did
When AMEE first approached us in 2011, our first job was to completely redesign the registration process and delegate journey, rationalising five systems into one new, streamlined way of working. Over the years, we’ve used delegate feedback to improve this experience further, created more engaging presentation formats and content, added more space for new exhibitors and created more sponsorship opportunities to drive revenue.
- What we delivered
The 2018 programme included 11 plenary speakers, 26 symposia and 78 conference workshops, as well just under 1,000 scientific posters and ePosters. From sourcing the venue through to budget management, we delivered full end-to-end project management and event delivery, blending meticulous attention to detail with flawless logistics.
- Attendance up 40%, peaking at 4,010 delegates in 2018
- Exhibition revenue grown by 143% by sourcing new exhibitors and sponsors and increasing the exhibition space footprint by over 75%
- In 2018, 80% of delegates rated the conference as an ‘extremely useful learning environment’
