We have vacancies for both an Events Executive and an Events Manager. They are both a very mixed and busy support role to perform event project management functions for the Company's events team.

Scope of Responsibilities

Event Support:

  • Supplier liaison
  • Building event sites using a CMS
  • To monitor and maintain quality and adherence to processes, identifying and contributing to their improvement
  • To strive for excellence in customer service and quality delivery
  • To research and liaise with hotels, venues and suppliers and obtain appropriate options and quotations.
  • To support on proposal documentation for submission to the client.
  • To support on events from proposal though to event delivery, including being client-facing
  • Budget management
  • Manage data and lists for event delivery.

Relevant requirements:

  • Ability and confidence to speak to external parties when required
  • Works well under pressure and respond effectively to deadlines
  • Strong capabilities in multi-tasking and prioritising workload
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in written and spoken English
  • Highly motivated, flexible, confident and ready to work on own initiative
  • High level of computer proficiency & experience including CMS
  • Excellent understanding of Excel
  • Team player, willing to support the team in a variety of tasks
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the career
  • Contribute to project specific extended working hours when required
  • The ability and want to travel on events when travel returns
  • Willing to participate in non-core activities as required, such as assisting other business practices
  • Previous experience in the events industry is desirable for the Event Managers role although not necessary for the Events Executive role
